Bush Rescue

The Bush Rescue is the name given to the emergency forces of Burramudgee and all Southern Rivers in the Ty the Tasmanian Tiger franchise. It was founded during the second game Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue, hence the game's name. It disbanded during the six month disappearance of Ty in the third game, though it quickly reformed once Ty returned and regained its key members.

Its primary members are Ty, Sly, Shazza, Maurie and Julius. It operated out of a center next to Burramudgee, equipped with a laboratory, airstrip, training course and various other amenities, prior to the town's destruction in Ty 3. Its logo is a silhouette of Ty wielding his boomerangs, emphasising his importance to the group.

The team not only serves as the elite defense forces of Southern Rivers (being called in during serious crises the regular security forces cannot handle), but as a general emergency and rescue team. As such, Ty and his friends are often tasked to do odd jobs such as deliveries as much as fight off the forces of evil.
