Joson W. Drawsney was an Alternate UUniversal Khuroot Human from Planet Bijou. He was once the second-successful animator behind his friend Qalton Mimzy, and was the animation face of Bijou, a planet founded by humans as a movie-making colony outshined by planet Graphene. Known for his great old-age cartoon animation depicting grim but heartwarming settings and memorable cartoons, he was famous for his greatest cartoon, Morty and the World, which featured the namesake character Morty as a cartoon robot, his giant robot friend Gordy, and his wife, a beautiful semi-gynoid alien girl named Jubilee, in a post-apocalyptic world called Clade, as a very successful anti-war cartoon following the horror of the Great Stagnation of the AUU from the Interwar Period. But what caused his downfall was when his work was bought and ruined with war propaganda, angering Joson into destroying the entire cartoon and cancelling the cartoon for good. Getting sued and sent to community service on a planet now called Cel Toonus, an in-progress colony where Joson was lonely and betrayed by his own career. In despair, he accidentally discovered a magic paint that allowed him to establish a new kind of studio to reboot Morty, starting with the accidental creation of a Shadow Blot-style monster he imprisoned in a 'Cartoon Machine', then experimenting until the success of bringing Morty, Gordy, and Jubilee in what they were supposed to stay as. However, his obsession caused him to chronically abuse the magic paint to do whatever he wanted and 'never grow up' because he felt nobody would understand his vision. This lobotomized him into being manipulated by the monster in the Cartoon Machine into freeing him, spreading the magic paint around the world with the promise of turning the world into what he wanted. Though the promise was given too well, as the planet became ridden with war and an eventual apocalypse, Joson blamed himself and ended up drowning in his own paint. But this was a plan for the monster to consume him and use his soul to take over the planet as revenge for his imprisonment. With the monster, now dubbed the Cartoon Demon, unable to be harmed by Joson's creations since he was now their property, he was free to rule the world. Morty, Gordy, and Jubilee ended up split apart because most of the trio lost their will to live and Jubilee broke up with Morty because of his unwavering optimism, believing there was no way to defeat the Cartoon Demon, and even took Gordy away from him, seeing him as a bad influence on each other. She became the public dictator of Cel Toonus that used the face of the Cartoon Demon as her symbol of fear and hopelessness. With Cel Toonus truly the vision of Joson, it seemed that such a symbolic and heartwarming cartoon was doomed to have no happy ending. The Cartoon Demon always relied on Jubilee to remind people they belonged to him, and always ensured that outsiders, the only things that could progressively defeat him, were forbidden and to be executed on sight.
