Immortals are characters that have eternal youth and can never die. Immortals can be around for several years or can magically be granted by highly-powered sources of magic. However, immortality in the UUniverses exist in two forms: pure and limited. Pure immortality is very rare and is the true definition of immortality, allowing for immunity to sicknesses, healing, and eternal youth. But limited immortality is a type that all Gods and Darkspawn possess, as they can still be affected by illnesses such as morality illness, which is an incurable condition where conflicts between what one is supposed to be to critical levels can instantly result in the nullification of immortality and eventually death, though they still cannot be killed by traditional means for the most part. Some limited immortality can leave out important factors like youth and invulnerability. Being immortal is a very popular thing to seek out thanks to the popular fear of death. However, immortals themselves know that immortality is not what mortals 'childishly' cracked it up to be, and that it's a more painful, empty, and shallow experience than some want to believe. Immortality is also something best not to fall in the possession of rather questionable individuals or there would be very little ways in actually stopping them. Gods technically don't count because they're a few levels higher than immortals. Immortals can either just be beings that just live forever, or can have a possession of some form of god-like powers.
