Outer Gods are Lovecraftian beings and gods that are higher than average Gods. Existing outside the boundaries of universes, they are beyond good and evil, and are more complex, grand, and terrible than what is and shall be, and their main instinct about them is hopelessness, insignificance, and how unimportant lower gods and mortals are in the grand scheme of things. Since they live outside dimensions, they exist outside the space-time continuum, are bound by no physical laws, and they are as old as the multiverse itself. They usually take the form of faceless figures in their territory, but they must take specific forms when entering universes of any kind. Some can be omnipotent and omniscient, but because of the consequences of unlimited power, their power is limited to a significant amount. Some govern dimensions, others fulfill roles for their own kind. Due to their Lovecraftian themes, they are commonly amoral and have no concern over the well-being of lower beings, and view them as small, or never lasting forever, mainly due to their boundless ages.
