Elder Gaerea G. Abernethy is an Alternate UUniversal Grarrot from Planet Direx. She is a parrot-like bird and is the Grand Elder of Animism for the Magelio Elder Council, and as such, she finds power and magic in even the most defenseless of wildlife across the AUU, and knows how to support them. Living as a wise sage for the native tribes of the planet as it was filled with native or introduced monsters that the tribes themselves have hundreds of totems on. The tribes see over a hundred sages across the planet, and Gaerea was among one of them after being capable of taming the most fierce of wildlife on Direx. She has then moved onto communicating, encouraging, and empowering the animals into being more efficient, and even aided in saving a near-extinct species by re-teaching it's natural survival instincts. These were only a few of her achievements that earned her a role on Magelio as the Elder of Animism.
History
Gaerea was groomed to become a sage for her people in the valuement of animals and the finding of magic within them, even at the most insignifigent ones. Unsentients, even dangerious ones, always feel in a state of peace around her. Even something as intense as an Apex Predator would behaive pet around her. She is a beloved figure to her people, but is a figure of infamy for hunters, pouchers in particular.
Any hapless poucher that dares hunt in Direx is met with a fate worthy of nateral selection when Gaerea is concerned. In one instence, a gang of bold pouchers tried to score a critically endanger creature in the aim for profit. But thanks to Gaerea, the only pay they'll get, is payback as the Pouchers were struke down by a barrage of nature's majustic creatures. Gaerea tooked the troubled creature in, desiring to restore it's confidence.
Gaerea spent her time re-teaching the creature how to survive back in the wild and restore it's confidence. Gaerea and the creature bonded, but eventually, it was time for them to part ways when the creature completed it's lessons. Gaerea resumed her life as usual, then one day local creatures warned of approuching outsiders. Gaerea went to confront them to make sure they weren't a threat. But they weren't. They were some representives of the world of Magilo that wished to offer a place with them. She was hesitent, but the deal was sweeten that Magilo would make her already great abilities with animals greater, earning Gaerea's interest. This would lead her a spot with the Magilo Council. But don't worry about Direx being without her protection, as she has gotten alot of worthy successors willing to take over for her in her absince.
