Chris the Riddle-Cat is a feline munchkin demon from the Demon Realm of The Owl House. He hails from the town of Felinia where he is assigned as a riddle-charging bridge keeper who offers Luz to guess his name which is directly labeled on his cloak, and is also known as a killjoy, only to be a part of an octopus-like monster's trap to eat and assimilate Luz until she is rescued by Eda and King.

Role in the series

Chris and the others are in fact victims of a Mortal-Napper turned into a Mischiever named Conyluth. He was once a loopy childhood friend of Nevareth as he was raised in his hometown of Felinia after he became the last of a slain family of battlemages called the Angstmores. When he discovers his true origins, Nevareth brings Chris along and he obliges since he only works as a bridge-keeper thanks to accidentally killing its previous troll bridge-keeper. His involvement with Nevareth's journey makes Felinia a target of Conyluth's attack in the hopes that his loved ones won't come for revenge since Felinia is a powerful magical community. After he is saved from assimilation by Luz, he joins Nevareth and his new friends including Adegast to form a resistance against the Conformity since they were responsible for the Angstmores' destruction.
