Hóu Yaobong, AKA The Monkey (猴), is a Tonkin snub-nosed monkey born in Siam and raised as an orphan in China in the Kung Fu Panda world. He is a member of the Chinese Zodiac Kung-Fu Animals Society, and is the member that can only be born on the Year of the Monkey in order to be a strong and powerful member, capable of manipulating metal. This member is limited to a personality of being intelligent, dignified, optimistic, romantic, sociable, quick-witted, confident, agile, motivating, curious, and gregarious, yet egotistical, vain, arrogant, selfish, deceptive, reckless, snobbish, suspicious, manipulative, and restless. They are also prone to circulatory and heart troubles, heart-attacks, strokes, diabetes, arthritis, anxiety and panic issues, obsessive-compulsive disorder, antisocial personality disorder, bipolar disorder, and narcissistic personality disorder. Hou is no different as he smart and accepts the best available, can bring others out of personal problems, is very social and enjoys company, yet he can have an egomaniacal edge at times, can learn to control his trustful nature, and he does what he can to make a good reputation for their society.
