Kurpannga the Devil-Dingo, is a large demonic dingo Mischiever who was documented by Sandy Petersen in his game H.P. Lovecraft's Dreamlands. It is a vicious and large red canine that terrorizes the Dreamlands. Named after Kurpany, a monstrous dingo demon created by the ancient Australian aboriginal people of Kikingkura in their feud with the Mala at Uluru as a weapon of revenge for their transgression in Australian mythology, it is a vicious monster whose only instinct is to kill heroes, particularly witches and other celebrated magicians of the Dreamlands, as a means of weeding them out for assimilation from the Mischievers and Azathoth. It had become an infamous killer and destroyed several instances of local heroes and champions, and nearly killed Randolph Carter one time, becoming the second most deadly entity against 0-Braves behind Saaitii. Initially it was meant to be the Mischievers' method of reverse-engineering a Xzar-Hound, but even though it was not successful because of how complicated the Xzar-Hound Ritual is in that you're supposed to use a MORTAL AND/OR INREALM LEVEL DEITY CANINE of the highest factor of misery for it and not another outer, Kurpannga once a being a Citadelian Hound before being corrupted into the shameful shell it is now, in terms of Kurpannga being a threat, that was enough for the Mischivers to still keep around. Its size is comparable to a wallaby's scale to a dingo, making it a very large monster and man/demon-eater. But one day, to even Randolph's surprise, it would meet its end in the hands of, of all people, Amity Blight, before she and Luz were even a couple. After the events of Hunting Palismen, Amity was still coping with her feelings for Luz after she kisses her in the events of Through The Looking Glass Ruins. Her father Alador Blight hands her a preowned cat Palisman named Ghost, who was once owned by an Ultharian prince who tried to destroy Kurpannga for years and ultimately met his end to him, even when he managed to fight Mischiever fire with Mischiever fire by adapting his abomination magic into craftflesh, the collective term for the biomatter Lovecraftian horror is associated with. Upon obtaining Ghost, Amity decides to help Ghost avenge her former owner by going to the Dreamlands and bring him down. She manages to learn all of the Ultharian prince's magic and use it to her advantage, and thus she and her new Palisman finally destroy Kurpannga. Afterward, she learns how to create a glyph to control craftflesh and teaches it to Luz after they form their relationship.
