Nickson

Nickson O. Slimes, nicknamed Slimy, is a toad from the land of Amphibia. He is a former toad warrior for the Toad Tower and a close friend to Grime since they were polliwogs. He was just as cruel as him when maintaining order on the lillypad-shaped island, but soon came across something not meant to be discovered. But when Grime betrayed his friendship with him by ignoring his promise to leave this power alone seeing it as something that could establish order on Amphibia, he ended their friendship at the cost of getting much of his face to acid when Grime took this cruelly. Angered, Nickson tamed one of the herons that terrorized them and ran away. Later, he accidentally comes across Trista Hylander, who invites him to her world-jumping crew with open arms as he wishes to end the iron grip of the Toad Warriors before they should discover the dangerous power of the Calamity Box. Later, his heron would be slain by the new arrival Sasha Waybright who would align with the Toad Warriors, and after some time, he is discovered accidentally by not just Sasha, but her friend Anne Boonchuy and her new frog family Hop Pop and his grandchildren Sprig, and Polly, who found him by locating Trista’s ‘WiFlies’, robotic bugs that provide WiFi on a world that shouldn’t have it. Later, he would join Sasha’s journey in the Great Temple of Strength and help her on her journey back home despite much of the Gem of Strength’s power being stolen by Ungus. After the events of 'True Colors', Trista tells him to go to Earth to watch over Anne and the Plantars as Sasha and her other critically-injured but astral-revived human friend Marcy Wu have proven they can take care of themselves. He continues doing so with the aid of Outer Force agent Waylon Morales.
