Ob'mbu is a giant giraffe-like reptilian Mischiever who was first documented by Joseph S. Pulver Sr. in his story Nightmare's Disciple. He is a demon amongst the giraffes of the Demon Realm who was created from a single powerful giraffe by Shub to annihilate the giraffes and is even the sole cause of the exile of so many of them as well as the transformation of many of their relics into Mischiever weapons including Nssu-Ghahnb, as well as other weapons sired by Shub including H'chtelegoth. However, in spite of this, Ob'mbu was not a cruel entity, if in fact he was actually a revered and respected entity in Giraffe civilization before he became a Mischiever. But when he was struck with Shub's infamous cursed milk, a false darker persona briefly took him over and committed dark deeds in Shub's name, but the true Ob'mbu was able to break free and exile the dark persona. However, he was too late as giraffe civilization was ruined and nearly gone save for his lost daughters. Ruled by sadness, Ob'mbu charged for a field of Lovecraftium and jumped from a cliff to take his own life, but because the very Lovecraftium would keep the Sleep Reapers at bay, he was stuck on the tallest spire and was rendered a husk, a state of an Outer God not truly hibernated but not active either, stuck in a grey area between hibernation and still being active. Thus he ended up held in storage in a secret Steamworks Facility by one of Devilin McJersey's executives for private research. Though the Ob'mbu dark persona is perceived to still be out there, it is unlikely he will ever return since the true Ob'mbu was clever enough to place him in a pocket dimension prison built especially for him, where the Edgewall surrounding it was made entirely of Lovecraftium, forbidding him any exit, and the Edgewall Guards present were Resisting Ones wearing Lovecraftium armor.
