The Lion Guard: The Rise of Scar
During the musical sequence "Fujo", Shupavu watches the Lion Guard performing their duties before slithering away.
When Ushari and Janja are trying to find out if it's possible to summon Scar, Ushari enlists the help of his friends, a group of skinks. Intrigued, Shupavu summons Nyeusi and orders him to follow Makini and Rafiki, to see where they are heading. He slithers away and follows them to the entrance of The Lair of the Lion Guard, before returning to gather Shupavu and Ushari. Ushari questions him when he arrives, and Nyeusi hisses in confirmation. Shupavu and Nyeusi then leave Ushari to his business.
Later, Nyeusi spies on Kiara and Makini from atop a tree with Shupavu.
Let Sleeping Crocs Lie
When Makuu leaves with the Lion Guard to speak to Simba about new sleeping arrangements, Kiburi seizes control of the float, inspiring them to join him in taking over the water holes in the Pride Lands. From afar, Shupavu watches in fascination and resolves to speak with Ushari and Scar about the proceedings.
At Janja's den, Shupavu tells Scar about Kiburi, and he orders her and her skinks to keep an eye on the goings on. Later, Shupavu informs Scar that Kiburi has challenged Makuu to a Mashindano.
Shupavu is sly and sneaky with a somewhat nasty streak. Although prideful, she is not above helping others, especially if it will benefit a cause she believes in.
Not much is known about Nyeusi, although he has been described as the stealthiest skink. He is easily able to follow Rafiki and Makini without being detected. Nyeusi does not appear to speak, but his hisses can be understood by Shupavu.
Role in the series
The two skinks reprise their role in series as they, Ushari, and Janja remain to be unknowing pawns to the Villain League.
