SpongeBob and Friends and The Emperor's New Groove is the 8th moisode of the 1st Season of the SpongeBob and Friends Adventures series. In it, SpongeBob and his friends have traveled to South America and meet Emperor Kuzco and his crazed and incredibly hilarious pet Icky.

Plot[]
Kuzco is the self-centered teenaged emperor of a mountainous jungle nation, co-ruled by his pet prehistoric bird, Icky. One day, he summons Pacha, the headman of a nearby village, and the Shell Lodge Squad, who were rewarded by the Emperor of China for saving his kingdom, to inform him that he is building his enormous summer home, Kuzcotopia, on the site of Pacha's house. Pacha attempts to protest, and is dismissed, along with the Lodge, who stand by Pacha's side. Kuzco's ancient, power-hungry advisor Yzma and her easily-distracted lackey Kronk, and the villain leagers, Doctor Facilier, Dr. Blowhole, and the Frog Hunters, Pa, Durnnal, and Two-fingers, then attempt to turn Kuzco into a Llama, to prevent him from being suitable to be emperor, but back-fired when Kuzco can still speak.
After knocking Kuzco unconscious, Yzma orders Kronk to dispose of him and Icky, who witness the crime, but conscience-stricken Kronk loses the sack holding Kuzco and Icky. Kuzco and Icky ends up in Pacha's village, accuses Pacha and the louge of kidnapping him and demands that Pacha help him return to the palace. Pacha and the louge refuses unless Kuzco builds his summer home elsewhere, and Kuzco and Icky attempt to find they're own way home. they end up surrounded by a pack of jaguars, only to be saved by Bagheera and Baloo, who were somehow summoned by the louge. Meanwhile, Yzma assumes command of the nation, but when Blowhole reveals Kronk never killed Kuzco or Icky, the villains head out and begin to search the local villages for them.
meanwhile, Blowhole contacts the Penguins, Skipper, Kolwalski, Rico, and Private, that he's with the villain leage now and intends of helping them to revive cobra by using the Soul of Shenzi, which gets the penguins to go out and help the louge, irreguardless of Blowhole's threat to have Shenzi "Sleep with the fishes", although it does sounds like he intends on killing her anyway if the penguins didn't come.
Kuzco feigns agreement with Pacha's demand, and Pacha leads him back toward the palace. after a minor mishap with Tai Lung's attempt to capture Shenzi, and the Penguins appear to help out, They stop at a roadside diner, and Yzma and Kronk and the villains with them arrive shortly after. Pacha overhears Yzma discussing Dr. Facilier being the causer of Kuzco's problem, and attempts to warn him. Kuzco, convinced Yzma is loyal, berates Pacha and the louge and returns to Yzma, only to overhear Yzma and Kronk discussing that they are still talking about Facilier's almost brillient plan to take over his positon,, and that the kingdom doesn't miss him. Icky, who formerly have amnesic about the surprase tranvermation, remembers it now and wents to find and warn the louge and Pacha. Kuzco realizes Pacha was right, but Pacha has left. After a repentant Kuzco spends the night alone in the jungle, the group reunite, with Icky realising that he forgot to lead the group to Kuzco. They race back to the palace, with Yzma and Kronk and the leagers chasing them until the pursuers get hit by lightning and fall into a chasm.
Kuzco and Pacha arrive at Yzma's laboratory only to find that their pursuers somehow got there first (by a method which, humorously, not even they know). Kronk changes sides after a vicious tongue-lashing from Yzma, and gets dropped down a trapdoor. Yzma summons the palace guards, forcing Kuzco and Pacha, with only Icky as back-up protaction, to grab all of the transformation potions they can and flee while the louge keeps the leage from helping Yzma. After trying several formulas that convert Kuzco to other animals, and then back to a llama, they escape the guards (but not Yzma) and find they are down to only two vials. the Penguins humorisly defeated the Frog hunters and chased them off, much to Blowhole's dismay. Yzma accidentally steps on one of the two, turning herself into a Phorusrhacos (A clone of Dark Cynder's Terror Bird). She still almost manages to obtain the antidote, but is thwarted by Icky, who rammed into her eye and chased her to fall to her death, (till soon resserected for a future project) and Icky regains the Potian, much to the reappeared Kronk's amazement Icky did not mess it up. Blowhole and Facilier retreated to avoid being defeated by the louge, having a feeling it may be too late to help Yzma. Kuzco becomes human again and sets out to redeem himself, building a small summer cabin on the hill next to Pacha's home. Meanwhile, the villains were upsetted by the failure to congure Kuzco's world, but more by the failure to destroy Shenzi, the murderer of Lord Cobra, and planned to try it again, till a sudden appearence from Maleficent, who said while the soul of the slayer will bring back the slay-ee, she stated Cobra was too "High-leveled" and Shenzi's soul was not "Pure", given reference to Shenzi's anti-heroisum, which Maleficent offered a more powerful remity, using the blood of Princesses of heart, which Maleficent so happened to captured Kairi, who was in a sleep, the villains celibrate the new found idea, and it was the start of the leages intrest of the Princesses of heart ever since.
