Sprig Plantar
Sprig Plantar is the deuteragonist of the Disney XD show Amphibia. He is the best friend and guide of a human girl Anne Boonchuy who lives in Wartwood with his polliwog sister Polly Plantar and his grandfather Hop Pop. He meets Anne after she was mistaken for a monster by a town lunatic, and after she saves him from a giant mantis, the two become close friends, and closer than Anne's human friends back home. He sticks by Anne and even helps her stand up to Sasha Waybright for all the manipulation she put on her, and even gets stranded on Earth with Polly and Hop Pop in Season 3. He is voiced by Justin Felbinger (Deep in Deep, and Nate Cosay in Infinity Train).
Personality[]
Sprig is a very excitable and energetic frog child, both qualities that can bring him to adventure and into trouble respectively. Despite acting careless at times, he is utterly loyal to his friends and family, and will ultimately do what is right in the end.

Role in the series[]
Sprig reprises his role with Anne in the SpongeBob and Friends Adventures timeline. He still sticks by Anne's side regardless of the danger she gets herself into. He is roped into the crazy adventures of the Shell Lodge Squad and Trista Hylander when Hank Jr takes over the toad warriors and by extension Amphibia in Hank Jr's Revenge, becoming a regular aid when he learns of his home's true origins from The Bestiary Dimension, the same original home of the monsters of Mewni.
