Hagry Moans has been defeated, but the Mooqin has seemingly devoured Captain Axxus. But then, it is shown that Axxus had handled the holographic monster well by injecting nanobots inside it's matrix, shutting it down, and crashing on Ardalicron without a scratch. While he sets out on a mission to get back home, Sacen has become captain of her father's crew. While she discovers that the Mooqin's energy signature has been traced on Ardalicron, Byrn and Cyona have been growing in their relationship, and Byrn is trying to propose to Cyona. But things have suddenly changed since their battle with Hagry. Non-Ardalicronian space pirates from the corrupt pirate planet of Ovenga have come to take over the place. Not only is Zigmond the Zodiac resurrected after his body was recovered and healed, but he has become the assistant to the leader of the attack: the Dreaded Pirate Lord Captain Morgue, a deathly giant cyber-connected tapeworm-like creature with an appetite for mindless destruction. His plan: to capture Captain Axxus after hearing of his legacy, and even make Sacen his wife and take over the entire AUU Currency Troupe along with his massive army of leftover gladiator robots. With all the power he has obtained with the money he stole, he has been declared one of the most unstoppable space pirate captains Ovenga had to offer. The Lodgers, who have been visiting Vinzotyx during all this, is told to go there with the Heroes Act, and rescue Axxus and Sacen from being controlled by this slender beast. Little do they know is that Morgue has a personal foe named Csamar Frash, an otter-like Ovengan bounty hunter who had been trying to prove that he's not like his corrupt parents. He manages to rescue Sacen before our heroes can, and they soon discover who he is. They decide that if they're gonna stop Morgue, they'll need to team up with someone who knows him as much as Csamar does. A problem is that Sacen thinks that Csamar is a reckless creep who almost got her killed while rescuing her, and despite their constant fights, they start to slowly form a connection. How will our heroes deal with this pirate worm who wants to force Sacen into his life?
