A skilled team of high class thieves have struck called the Clasher Clan. This team consists of their leader gazelle lady named Malinda Gazebo, a scrawny water monitor named Drake Dragonia, a demolition-crazy duck named Mandarin Mally, a muscle-bound elephant named Brawny Derm, a Dr. Blowhole-like narwhal genius named Professor Nary Wall, and a stealthy wise-cracking loon named Looney Logan. This thief team has been pushing the buttons of the Cooper Gang recently, and kept getting them in trouble with Carmalita. In fact, Carmalita placed the Clashers on her list of criminals to seek and bust other than Sly and his friends. But when the Clashers end up framing Sly for the greatest museum heist in history: stealing the rubied heart of the Boundary Generator, all by mysteriously having some Cooper traces. Carmalita ends up thinking they are innocent since she knows Sly's better than that as there was no reason Sly would wanna steal something as valuable as that and attract unneeded attention. She makes a smart decision and contacts the Shell Lodgers to help her investigate the crime scene. While they are doing that, the theft has actually brought the attention of not just Team Nefarious, but also the Villain League, The Dark Dragon Scourge Empire, and every single suddenly-escaped inmate of Prison 42. But even so, everyone knows that the Clashers are impossibly hard to track down. When the Lodgers end up simultaneously helping Carmalita and the Cooper Gang at different times, our heroes must try their best to find the Clashers before the villains do. But there's someone else they have to deal with. One that is the true reason why the Clasher Clan had been easily capable of framing Cooper: they once had a Cooper within their ranks, and his name was Josh Cooper, a highly-talented thief who was a distant cousin to Sly. When he quit the Clan for currently-unexplained reasons, they kept many Cooper cards, yet intended to save them for a perfect time. Hopefully, this cousin of Sly should provide the location of the Clan's hideout.
