The Hungry Wolf is a minor antagonist in Disney's 1963 feature film The Sword in the Stone.
Role in the film[]
He wants eat to Arthur (Wart). He is encountered many times. The last time being when Arthur and Merlin turn themselves into squirrels, he ends up being defeated by a female squirrel who fell in love with Arthur, who traps him in a log and is sent floating down a river.
It is unknown what became of him afterwards.
Role in the series[]
The wolf reprises its role from the movie, where it is revealed that Fagin dark-enfused the creature with hatred for Arthur, leading to its mission in the film. After it failed in trying to eat Arthur 3 times, Fagin killed the wolf by siccing the Heartless on it, turning it into a wolf heartless.
