General Hextrus, the former leader of the Villains Act criminal military faction, The Yellow Revenant, which was disbanded by a hero forgotten in time, has escaped from Oranos and now seeks to take advantage of the VA being destroyed to try and form a new colony of his own with a female he long had the hots for. However, knowing that she would refuse and immediately turn him in, he chooses a much better choice. He salvages some of his old Cybernetic-Clone Organism soldiers (CCOs), builds an army of upgraded versions, and kidnaps her to an abandoned village of hills and hives in Larvirium where he attempts to create his new kingdom. Knowing also that it wouldn't work to just force her to love him, he has his soldiers steal an unstable pheromone-serum cocktail so he can make her fall in love with him. He gave up on his Communist ideals due to the fact that he considered it a 'pipedream' and a phase he was going through as a form of chronic depression/rage, and he simply wants to create a new kingdom of his own with his girl. When the Shell Lodgers come by at the exact moment the theft of the pheromone cocktail comes out, they reach the Hero Hive, and they are told to go to Larvirium to stop Hextrus however they can.
